Ripple Coworking's

House Rules

Common sense guidelines to keep members safe and our work environment productive.

1. Noise Management. While we have taken great strides to insulate walls for noise, sound still carries. Kindly:

  • use headphones if you wish to listen to music or videos or video chat,
  • no speakers or computer speakers (i.e., for music, video or amplification) are permitted in the office,
  • use of speaker phones is not permitted (except in conference rooms), please use headphones for hands free,
  • do not make or engage in phone conversations in hallways or common areas.

2. Air fresheners/diffusers. Other people are sensitive to smells. Please do not use any scented air fresheners or essential oils in your office. Candles and diffusers are a fire hazard and are not permitted.

3. Smoking. No smoking or vaping is permitted in the office, or within 50 feet of building entry ways. Use of emergency exits or fire escapes for smoking is prohibited.

4. Keep the space clean. Please leave any space you use as you found it and clean up after yourself. If you find a space that has been left untidy, please let us know so we can take care of it.

5. Refrigerator space. Feel free to store your lunch in the refrigerator. Please don’t eat anyone else’s food and toss your leftovers before they get stinky.

6. Lock up and turn the lights off when you leave after hours. If you are working after hours, please be sure to lock up any exterior doors you may have opened and exit through the front door. Also, return the A/C to 80 (heat to 65) and turn off the lights.

7. Conference Room Usage. Please reserve conference rooms before taking a seat, it may be booked by another member. Use the Member Portal to book your time.

8. Pets. We love ’em too, but some people are allergic. Please do not bring pets into the office.

If someone else is not following these rules, just let us know and we’ll take care of it anonymously and discreetly.
