Some business meetings just can’t be done effectively in restaurants or coffee shops. There’s nothing like trying to negotiate the finer points of a deal while being interrupted every five minutes by waitstaff asking you if you need anything else.
Meeting rooms can be rented on temporary basis by anyone.
POPULAR USES
At Ripple, we use the terms “meeting rooms” and “conference rooms” interchangeably. They are the same thing.
If this is your first meeting room rental with Ripple Coworking, you will need to contact a team member who will make the reservation for you. After your first meeting room rental is made, you will have access to Ripple’s online portal where you can make (and pay for) meeting room reservations online.
If you do not currently have an office rental or permanent deskspace rental, you reserve meeting rooms between 9:00 A.M. and 5:00 P.M. Members with permanent deskpace or office rentals will have 24/7 access.
Arrangements can be made for earlier or later access. An additional deposit or fees may be required. Speak to a community manager for details.
Meeting rooms are reserved on a first-come-first-served. We recommend that you reserve meeting room space as soon as you schedule your appointment. On most days you will find available meeting room times.
Coffee and water are always available. If you required food delivery or catering, contact a community manager who can help you make arrangements.
Generally, no security deposit is required for meeting room rentals unless:
In those cases, arrangements will need to be made to hold a security deposit, and the amount will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
Conference rooms must be cancelled one business day prior to the start time of your meeting or you will be charged for the room. A cancellation fee of 10% of the total reservation will be charged to non-members.
If your meeting runs long, if there is no reservation immediately after your meeting room rental, you can simply purchase additional meeting room time by the hour. If your meeting room is booked, we may move you to a different meeting room if one is available, or to a common area where you can wrap up your meeting. Additional fees may apply.
Ripple Coworking offers meeting room rentals by the hour, starting at $15/hour (two hour minimum), by the day starting at $100 per day and in 10-hour monthly bundles starting at $130/month.
We offer meeting room rentals in our Flagler Beach coworking space and our Daytona Beach coworking space.
Our Flagler Beach virtual office rentals are located in our oceanfront coworking building on A1A and South 8th Street. As a virtual office customer, you’ll have access to our two conference rooms, and can rent deskspace whenever you need it.
Our Daytona Beach virtual office rentals are located in our coworking building in Downtown Daytona Beach, on Orange Avenue between Beach Street and Palmetto Avenue. Our Daytona Beach coworking space is easily walkable from the 5th District Court of Appeals, the Volusia County Courthouse Annex, all the shops and restaurants on Beach Street and in the Downtown Daytona Beach Redevelopment District.
No, anyone can rent a meeting room. Virtual office and office rental clients do get discounts on meeting room rentals and generally have fewer restrictions on when a conference room can be reserved.
If your guest arrives before you, our team will kindly inform them that you are not in the office yet and we will ask if they would like a coffee or water while they wait. If your reserved conference room is empty, we will guide them to the room to wait for you, otherwise, we will have them wait in our reception area.
